We dedicate much of our work creating unique pieces of Sacred Art.
We have collaborated in the realization of sacred objects of great artistic significance since the 1960s, both by drawing or performing pieces.
Realization of religious objects: – A censer and the incense boat from the 1980s can be found in Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church in OPorto; – The chalices and paten of S. Nicolau Church in OPorto were designed by Manuel Alcino; – The chalice and pyx of Carvalhido Church also in OPorto, whose bases seem to be inspired by the recesses of honeycombs; – For the then Bishop of Viana, D. Armindo Lopes Coelho, Alcino executed in 1979 the Episcopal ring, crosier and pectoral cross. – For D. António Maria Taipa conceived and executed the prelatical symbols (Episcopal ring, crosier and pectoral cross) in 2001 as well as the Holy Oils container; – In 2003 the Chancellor for the Assembly of the Portuguese Knights of the Sovereign Order of Malta requested the creation of a reliquary in honor of Blessed Friar Gerard, Founder of the Order; – Also in 2003 was completed the crown intended to adorn the statue of Nossa Senhora do Bom Despacho in Maia Parish Church, made of gold and studded with diamonds, garnets, amethysts and other gems.
